With our more than 110 employees in whole Taiwan, we are accepting resource recyclables and waste all the way from Kaohsiung to Taipei. In addition to our head office in Taipei, we serve customers from all regions in our plastic recycling plant in Nantou and our industrial service plant in Taoyuan.

The REMONDIS Taiwan Nantou Plastic Recycling Plant
In the heart of Taiwan, in Nantou County, we have located our Nantou Plastic Recycling Plant. The central location of this plant allows us to receive material from all over Taiwan. In our plant, we can process up to 40,000 tons of post-consumer plastics every year. This includes water bottles, milk-, shampoo- and many other types of containers. Through our optimized process, we are producing plastic flakes and chips which are used by our clients and partners to replace so-called virgin plastic in new products. And by that, we can reduce the global oil consumption and CO2-emissions. Did you know that our customers can save up to 70% of CO2-emissions by using our recycled PET? Isn’t that great?

Our Plastic Flakes & Chips
There are a whole range of reasons why industrial businesses choose to use our recycled plastics rather than virgin plastics. Thanks to our state-of-the-art facility and our long-term know-how, we can produce a variety of plastic products and technical properties that our customers need for their production process. What’s more, our recycled plastics normally cost far less than virgin plastic and yet are still of the same high quality and yes – they are also protecting the environment.
As we receive a variety of different bottles and containers in our Nantou Plastic Recycling Plant, we are also able to supply a wide range of products. These are mainly PET, HDPE, PP and PS. Please refer to the following list to find all our products.
Flakes
recycled from transparent post-consumer PET bottles. This stream is our signature product and is characterized by high quality and clean color.
recycled from colored post-consumer PET bottles. This stream includes flakes which are green, blue or brown.
recycled from other post-consumer PET containers than transparent and colored beverage containers.
recycled from post-consumer milk bottles. This stream is characterized by the typical white of milk bottle containers.
recycled from post-consumer shampoo-, detergent bottles and lubricant containers.
recycled from yogurt or make-up containers.
recycled from to-go beverage containers and caps as well as medical liquids containers.
recycled from single use restaurant dishes and microwave-ready fast food containers.
recycled from PS-containing post-consumer beverage containers (e.g. Yakult)

Make your life easier and let REMONDIS Taiwan recycle your plastic bales for you. Working together with REMONDIS Taiwan, you can rest assured that all the waste plastic generated is sent for professional recycling. This also includes providing you with expert advice and working with you to make sure your plastic bales are leaving your facilities as quick and smooth as possible.
